To achieve the optimum design for you, Angella needs to invest the time to learn about you, your family, lifestyles, and aspirations for your property. This intimate process requires a high degree of trust and comfort in your designer and Angella is very honoured and grateful when clients put their trust in her. However not everyone can be of the same mind so Angella welcomes the opportunity to meet with you for an obligation free chat. This initial meeting gives you and Angella the chance to explore some ideas and determine if you can establish an affinity and work closely to successfully deliver your vision. At this initial meeting Angella will begin to explore the possibilities by drawing out your vision, understanding your lifestyle and objectives for your project.

Explore & Create

Following the initial meeting Angella will seek to understand any structural or administrative limitations, challenge thinking, and offer exciting suggestions. Your proposed timescales and budgets are discussed and Angella will begin to undertake preliminary investigations of the property or areas to be designed. Over several meetings, space, volume planning and conceptual designs are further developed, layouts, and styles are explored and mood boards and floor plans are produced to assist with your visualisation.

Design Design Design

When layouts and styles are agreed Angella then develops these concepts further, getting into the detail of primary materials for floors, walls, etc with a view to the overall finishes, lighting, materials, etc. Working with your architect we develop technical drawings and details for the build. This provides your contractor with clear requirements for structure, lighting & plumbing layouts upon which they are able to provide a quote for their work. During this phase Angella also starts to develop various schedules such as sanitary, ironmongery, furniture, fittings, and finishes. She engages further with the wider team and supply chain to pull together detailed budgets and time scales.

It’s All In The Detail

With construction underway Angella will develop in greater detail the designs for bespoke joinery and furniture items, lighting, etc. Working with your contractor on the specific interior detailing and advise on and liaise with specialist craftsmen, artisans, and subcontractors. With this greater detail of granularity interior budgets and implementation timings can be finalised.

With Focus & Determination

While construction is taking place Angella continues to manage the design by coordinating with the contractor and suppliers and in the procurement of furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, etc. These are carefully planned and coordinated to ensure readiness to dress and style your completed property. Angella will oversee the installations of specialist interior subcontractors and craftsmen, inspecting their works, and assist your project coordinator with identifying and resolving defects. Quality is in the detail and Angella’s approach and attention to your vision will ensure the whole team create your uniquely beautiful environment.
